Diabetes Self-Management Education
Location: Bull Family Diabetes Center
This comprehensive series is geared to individuals newly diagnosed with diabetes or individuals needing self-management education. The series focuses on developing skills for self-management and covers pertinent diabetes related information, meal planning, medications, exercise, and handling high/low blood sugars.

Get Moving Again!
Location: Good Samaritan North Health Center
This ten week diabetes management program designed to help the person with diabetes get started with exercise even if you have never exercised before. A dietitian/exercise physiologist and nurse will help you manage your diet and control your blood sugar as you increase your activity level. This ten week program is ongoing (Tuesdays & Thursday 3:00-4:30pm every week) is covered by most insurance companies including Medicare. Exercise waiver and an order from your physician required. Participants may continue to exercise after program completion for $35 a month.

Rev It Up
Cost: $25 for a 5 week session
Location: Atrium Medical Center
This program includes step aerobics, hi/lo, kickboxing, and weights. Classes are six times a week and you can attend as often as you like. Classes on Mondays and Wednesdays from noon to 12:45pm and 6:pm to 6:45pm; Tuesdays and Thursdays from noon to 12:45pm.

This six week program will help you learn how to reduce your risk for hear and vascular disease. Various times are available by appointment on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. The cost is $170 for 18 one-hour sessions.

The Resteasy Insomnia Treatment is a new approach to an old problem. Learn to sleep again without medication. Initial consultation by a physician covered by most insurances. Five treatment sessions with an RN over eight weeks will cost $120.

Dayton's Only biomechanical video analysis program. The program offers a complete breakdown and high speed video analysis of active biomechanics from running and baseball to golf and basketball with mechanical corrections from our sports medicine and rehabilitation specialist. We can utilize state of the art equipment to capture and analyze any activity. Appointments are available 3:00pm to 7:00pm, Monday through Friday.
